Hello, first of all i'd like to say that this is a great program! After just one use, it's already replaced documents to go as my main document reader. My only problem with this program, however, is that I don't really care for the big fonts... size 16 is just too big for me, especially since I'm used to size 8-9 fonts. (I like having alot of information on one screen.) After finding out about the palmfiction font converter, I quickly converted several of my favourite fonts then installed them. However, the fonts were not read by palmfiction. I went in unicmd to see if the font files were in the right place, and they were. I finally uninstalled palmfiction then reinstalled it with the fonts all at the same time, but it was a no go. I rebuilt the fonts using several different charsets: western european, default and cyrillic, but it wouldn't work. Is there something special i need to do to get the fonts to be read by palmfiction? I managed to install cyrillic font pack on the home page with no problem, so I have no idea what i'm doing wrong. Any help would be highly appreciated!!!

On another note, this program is truly incredible. In only about 3 days, it's already up there along with TCPMP, WiFile, UniCMD and EasyCalc. Thanks alot for this great program!

*bump*

anyone? After trying a few things, I found that the fonts on the palmfiction homepage work perfectly as they should. I figure that i've been creating the fonts improperly using the font converter... Is there anything specific I need to do to make the fonts? All i've been doing is choosing the font, choosing the size then exporting it to the palm. Is there something i'm missing?

Hi,

I've not had any issues installing custom Fonts on my M505, I didnt use the auto-install thingy in PFFC though, I created the Fonts and then dragged them into "Quick-Install" myself... Worth a pop ?

I don't know what to say either - I'm using PFFC 2.1.1 w/o problems.

Could it be that you're not using the latest version of the converter? because the old version produces just what you describe - fonts which the newer PF won't recognize at all...

hi again! sorry I didn't reply sooner, but I recently found that I was somehow using version 2.0.3 of the font converter. I upgraded to the latest version, and this time it worked without a hitch. (well, almost. I found that using the button to put the fonts directly to the palm didn't seem to work. I had to drag and drop.) Thanks alot for the help!
