I'm using "SimpleIcons" v0.14e2 with PalmFiction 0.14j, and I don't think there's a problem...am I missing something?

What happens if a new feature that requires a new button is added, and I use an old skin - will it crash? will it just don't show? will PF simply complain & refuse to load?

About the default skins - I always see in the packages that their dates are updated - what has changed? Not always I see a relevant new feature to justify skin change, or so I think.

In general - what are the "risks" of using skin version 0.14e2 with the new PF 0.14l ?

PF have substitution picture. Substitution picture using instead missing picture.
New release packages build automaticaly. All componets rebuild and packed in zip. Changes may be or not to be :)
Old skin and new PF - minimal risk, no more 0.1%.
